Colleen is a speaker and writer on social issues and works with various organizations, professionals, and the public. She is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post.

She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, chronic pain, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma (including PTSD), and relationship issues. Her treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, EEG Biofeedback (aka neurofeedback), and Interpersonal Neurobiology, and the Trauma Resiliency Model. Her therapy dog and companion, Murray, comes to work with Colleen every day.

Colleen also volunteers her time with the Soldier’s Project where she provides free therapy to combat veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and A Home Within, providing therapy to children in the foster care system. She is also the founder of a non-profit program, Free 2 Be Me Dance, teaching ballet to children with Down syndrome.

Ms. Perry has provided management, leadership and sales training to various corporations such as Mead Johnson Nutritionals, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Ben & Jerry’s before launching her private practice. She brings her past corporate experiences to provide structured leadership and professional quality to the programs and groups that she facilitates.
